About Nomad Workation
Building the world's best workation community in the Swiss Alps
Our Mission
We believe remote work and adventure belong together. Nomad Workation creates curated experiences where digital nomads can do their best work, explore stunning Alpine landscapes, and build a community that lasts long after the workation ends.
The Swiss Alps are more than a backdrop — they're a productivity supercharger. A morning hike before your standup, a fondue dinner after a big deadline, a weekend ski run with people who get the nomad lifestyle. We've built the infrastructure around all of that: fast coworking, great coliving spaces, and a community of driven, curious people.
Whether you're a solo nomad looking to break out of isolation, a remote team wanting to meet IRL, or simply someone who wants to experience Europe's most spectacular landscapes without pausing your career — this is for you.
Meet the Founders
Pelé Philipp Weber
Co-founder
Swiss-born entrepreneur and serial community builder. Philipp has spent over two decades creating spaces where people connect, grow, and thrive — from coliving houses in the Alps to large-scale nomad festivals.
He created Nomad Workation because he kept meeting brilliant remote workers stuck at home, disconnected from nature and community. The Alps fix that.
Stefan Stolwijk
Co-founder
Dutch entrepreneur with deep roots in the ski and nomad world. Stefan is CEO of Bansko Nomad Fest — one of Europe's largest nomad gatherings — and co-founder of ski-hostel.com, bringing years of experience running ski accommodation and building communities around winter sports.
His expertise in hospitality, event logistics, and the ski industry makes him the perfect co-founder for workations that combine high-altitude adventure with genuine community.
What We Stand For
Community First
We keep groups small and curated. Every person in the room was chosen because they make the experience better for everyone else.
Work Actually Works
No sacrificing productivity for adventure. Our coworking setups are serious: gigabit internet, quiet zones, proper desks.
Alps as Therapy
Mountain air, physical challenge, and natural beauty reset the mind in ways no productivity hack can. We build that into every day.
